Hello! I am Lindsey Dwyer and I am “The Geek Girl” Real Estate Broker with Keller Williams Realty Mountains to Sound. A geek, according to the Cambridge definition, is “someone who is very interested in a particular subject and knows a lot about it.” When I love something, I really love it and geek out about it. Real estate is one of those things. This means I do the research to provide you with top-notch service throughout your real estate transaction. I chose Keller Williams as the brokerage to call home because they truly offer the best technology and training, which I use to stay ahead of the game and to keep your data secure.
It’s not all about real estate though. Being an agent means I’m in the relationship business. This means I love to host and join in game nights (online or off). I am truly a geek in all aspects of my life. This also means that I totally understand if you are seriously considering redecorating your dining room to be a tabletop game room.
I started in real estate as an executive assistant/operations manager for another agent. That’s when I realized how much I love helping people in this specific area. Before real estate, I have held numerous positions that have all gave me the opportunity to expand on my media and marketing skills.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation, and while I ultimately decided to pursue another career, I still use the skills I learned from this education daily.
If you’d like to see a detailed breakdown of my career history, feel free to visit my LinkedIn page.
My Geeky History
I previously worked at a local game store, and I cherish all of the connections I made in the gaming community there. This is where I really expanded my love of games.
Games I Play
Let me know if you want to set-up a time to play a game one-on-one or at one of my game nights!
When I have the time, I play Warhammer 40k Orks and Age of Sigmar/Warhammer Fantasy Wood Elves and Sylvaneth. I also have a box of Malifaux Colette waiting to be assembled and painted. Oh, and I have the Kings of War rules but have not had the chance to play!
Tabletop Roleplaying Games
Whenever the stars align for me to play in a tabletop RPG with my friends I am up for almost any system. I love Dungeons & Dragons 5E, Pathfinder, and White Wolf’s Storyteller System.
Trading Card Games
Really it’s just Magic for me. I did collect Force of Will for a shortwhile, but I couldn’t keep up. I can barely keep up with Magic these days! I am mainly a Commander/EDH player. Strictly casual.
Being a former game store employee, there are really WAY too many to list. I absolutely ADORE co-op games. To name a very few: Shadowrun Crossfire, T.I.M.E. Stories, Dead of Winter, Shadows Over Camelot, Warhammer Quest, and Mistfall. For non co-op, I’m a fan of Superfight, Smash-Up, Power Grid, and many of the Fantasy Flight’s “Living Card Games.”
Story, story, story. Most of my favorite games are all about the story. Once again, there’s a long list. Here’s the short version: DRAGON AGE, DREAMFALL SERIES, Batman: Telltale Series, Batman Arkham Series, New Tomb Raider Series, Mass Effect, Divinity Original Sin 2, To the Moon, Life is Strange, Borderlands 2, Civilization, Sims, and the game I play more than any of the others is Guild Wars 2.
